Befeti was established in 2015 by professional dancers who recognised a need for authentic, technique-focused instruction in London. What started as private lessons in a small studio near Clapham Common has grown into a respected service for individuals seeking structured development in various styles. The foundation was built on a straightforward principle: teach proper technique through consistent practice and individualised attention.
Over the years, we have worked with beginners taking their first steps, intermediate dancers refining their skills, and advanced performers preparing for competitions or professional engagements. Our approach remains unchanged. We assess where you are, identify what needs improvement, and create a plan to get there.
Our Purpose

Experience & Qualifications
Our instructors hold certifications from recognised organisations including the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA). Combined, the team brings 47 years of teaching experience across multiple disciplines.
We maintain active participation in the professional community through regular workshops, adjudication at competitions, and ongoing training. This ensures our methods reflect current standards and effective teaching practices used throughout the UK and internationally.
